Min-Novation meeting
was held on November 29, 2012. The meeting was organized by the Department of
Mining, Tallinn University of Technology.
Min-Novation meeting
was attended by 21 people from mining enterprises, Ministry of the Environment
and Department of Mining.
The aim of the meeting was to present ideas and
assumptions of the MIN-NOVATION project and give interesting lectures. The first part of the meeting dealt with
MIN-NOVATION project topics in a talk given by Veiko Karu followed by his presentation “Min Novation Project’s
pilot units”. After Veiko Karu, Renno Veinthal gave presentation “TUT development of tunnel boring machines cutting teeth material’s sustainability”.
Then had Artu Ellmann presentation “The
future of 3D laser scanning”.
Ardo Perm started the
second part of the meeting by giving a presentation “Conveyor and conveyor
scales- precision scaling of the product”. Then gave Lembit Uibopuu a presentation “Department of Mining 75 anniversary”. That was
followed by rewarding the winners of Wirtgens Machine Hunt.
